2010年外匯值31.5億美元 1950年美元外匯7000萬美元
2010年共值174.5億美元 1950年共值2億八千萬美元
2010年台灣2年國防預算 1950年台灣2年國防預算
另外1950年起美國每年給台灣一億美元經濟援助.不包含軍援.....
另外1969年以前一兩黃金都固定兌換35美元.美金那時很值錢
含軍援大概給了40幾億鎂....算40億的話..
美國給了台灣29年國防預算+越戰美軍觀光費
中國給台灣帶來2年國防預算跟200萬難民....
所以親美是一定的.哪天中共給了台灣2700億美元+加每年千萬陸客
對台灣的貢獻才跟美國差不多....

But can a modified MH-60 Knighthawk flies all the way from Afghanistan to the target area in Pakistan, and then back to Afghanistan without mid-air refueling? That's a bit risky isn't it?
The fuselage profile looks awfully a lot like an enlarged version of the Comanche, just saying. Also the retractable main landing gear is a bit unrealistic. |

Isn't that flight was from a base inside Pakistan near Afghanistan?
Btw the windows should not be tinted or else the pilots may not be able to see though via NVG

And probably some old people  will remember that the original LHX programme was to build two helicopters, one armed recon (RAH-66) and one transport type (cancelled), with common engine and 80% structure similarity.

AFAIK the SEALs flew from Bagram air base to a staging area in Jalalabad (both locations in Afghanistan), then onward nonstop to target in Pakistan.
The tinted windows add a bit of the BLING! factor into the whole ops, you know. You wanna kick some terrorist asses and look good doing it. XD |

Then they should use a chopper with gold plated body and silver plated blades, diamonds on every rivets. Standard fit for those operators should be Armani suits with silver lines added, wearing extra large diamond rings and thick gold necklace, armed with gold-plated guns...
Oh, why not install the LRAD and play rock & roll also?
