The weather is typical in London no matter what season...
When you try to focus your camera on those Greek Statues, it is quite stunning that the camera can recognize those faces as human faces using the face recognizition funciton!
Looking at the Parliament from the Westminister Bridge is quite astonishing. You can see it's so golden and so nice...
Holborne is always packed with people, so you can try to go via the Covent Garden Station instead, which got quite a lot of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. Try the ice-cream shop named Scoop, it's excellent. The SOHO is neraby also.
Normally if you go to the St Paul's Cathedral you would need to pay the entrance fee, but if you go there on Sunday it is free of charge because there is a Sunday mass, but you will not be allowed to take pictures inside it because of the mass also. Personally, I think going on Sunday is more worthwhile because this Cathedral is similar to other similar churches in London.
After visiting the St Paul you can go to the Millennium Bridge and visit the Tate Modern also. Shakespear's Globe is nearby which you cah have a glimpse. Not recommend to enter this thing.
Visit the Imperial Museum is more worthwhile than going to to London Eye, unless you have a special partner to bring along.
If you have plenty of time you can go to the Borough Market, which got many excellent food there, including the restaurant Fish! which makes one of the best Fish and Chips in London.
Sadly the Greenwich area is preparing for the London Olympic now, so 2/3 of the Greenwich Park is closed, while the Royal Observatory resumes the entrance fee requirement again.
And, you must go to the Oxford Street and the Regent Street, the two major shopping streets in London.

No, or at least no for those I went for...but now they can wrap with News of the World

對了，倫敦有哪些軍事博物館？查到了個Royal Army Museum，是否值得去看看？
倫敦的自然歷史博物館超多人排隊，看到當場放棄。
倫敦國會大樓裡禁止拍照實在太可惜了！富麗堂皇的一塌糊塗。Robin Lobby好像都是女王/國王準備演說時會拍到的地方，接下來的Royal Lobby裡頭一堆國王畫像，兩幅巨大的畫像分別是特拉法加戰役以及滑鐵盧，足見英國對於擊敗拿破崙是多麼自豪；這個廳好像是女王/國王對國會演說的地方。然後分別有House of Lords與House of Common的會議廳，在英國新聞上不難看到，前者椅子是紅色，後者椅子是綠色，導覽員告誡遊客不可擅自坐上椅子，否則就會被視為對英國國會的侮辱而當場架出去。其中，只有House of Lords的會議廳設有國王席。House of Common會議廳上方的民眾旁聽區裝有玻璃帷幕隔開，據說是幾年前有人在此對英國首相Tony Blair扔鮮花，之後覺得有安全顧慮所以加裝的。這兩間的座位都少得讓人有點意外，分別只能容納四百多名，理論上萬一全員到齊，應該有人要被擠上去。House of Common會議廳在不列顛戰役期間被德國空軍炸毀了，戰後重建時依照邱吉爾的主張原樣重建；而這間會議室前方一堆擺設中，中間的大椅子是澳洲捐贈的，桌子是加拿大捐贈，桌上兩個金碧輝煌的箱子是紐西蘭捐贈。然後有一間英國國會議員投票用的房間，外頭兩排椅子，議員等待時就坐著。有一間廳房也是不列顛戰役被毀而重建的（只有拱門是故意保留原本受損的結構），裡頭有每個議員的個人信件箱（導覽有指出David Cameron的），民眾可以在休會期間把信函放在裡面；這房間四周擺了些英國歷代著名首相的銅像，當然我只認得邱吉爾與柴契爾。

Are you referring to the National Army Museum? Didn't try to visit that one........
The Imperial War Museum is a good one

HMS Belfast could be a choice also, but I only took picture from outside as it got an entrance fee......btw it's original main mast was being replaced by a new replica mast from......Russia!
You can also visit the Tower Bridge and the Tower of London nearby
Not recommend to go to the Royal Air Force Museum as it is located in the rural area of London.
Next time when you visit London again, remember two things
1. Check the Tube service, only Good Service is normal service

Although you could still be affected by unexpected service disruption...
2. Bring a sports jacket to protect yourself from the occasional gust and rain

07/18的中午十二點多成功下單訂購了千元有找的【戰爭機器 經典3合1-Xbox360中英合版】,剛才查了訂單狀況,昨日下午一點零一分已然出貨,那應該最快今天(07/19)、慢一點就明天送到,等待這一兩天的排休放假時(因為總公司臨時改了中元檔期,變成俺只好再改排休日)的到來~!
休假除了可以進戲院觀賞【哈利波特:死神的聖物2】,還有新到手的遊戲可以玩,爽~!

Still there are more things to watch in the Imperial War Museum...and you can watch the HMS Belfast from outside...
Although there are such expensive museums, there are also lots of museums which require no entrance fee also, like Tate Modern, V&A, National Gallery, etc.
Still in jet lag? How come you wake up so early?
P.S. Another must go place is the Hyde Park, which is HUGE!

星一號作戰任務報告~~
D-DAY KHH-HKG 11-JULY-19
行程交通概要:
機場-S1巴士-東涌纜車站/昂坪360-S64巴士BACK機場-機場快線-快線九龍站-SKY360- RITZ CHECK IN
東涌線九龍站--荔景站轉荃灣線--深水捗--添好運點心--荃灣線尖沙嘴--星光大道--天星維港遊
尖沙嘴--天星小輪--中環碼頭--IFC MALL-- 東涌線香港站--九龍站--ICC MALL(圓方)
到了赤臘角機場,看天氣不錯,出關之後先去港鐵櫃台買到九龍的2人團體快線套票,順便給八達通卡儲值HK$100,
再去中國旅行社櫃台買了昂坪360的纜車票,然後搭上S1去昂坪360.
到了東涌纜車站,奇怪~~明明是週日怎麼纜車沒人呢??後來才發現...10點剛過剛開始當然沒人....
拿著剛剛買的套票卷換車票,很開心的搭著水晶車箱晃上去....然後走到牌坊就回程搭普通車箱晃下來.
(是的....老婆大人只是要~~搭~~纜~~車....連走到大佛底下的樓梯都沒興趣)
晃下來時約11時多~~天啊~~纜車站爆滿了........
在S1下車站走幾步路搭上S64~~晃回機場轉快線回市區
九龍站出來就一堆房地產推銷員來推銷,轉半天才到SKY100的入口,換好票券~~咻一下就到100樓的360度觀景台了.
(18號在旅館看送的星島日報才知道~~這些推銷員在圓方MALL裡跟保安幹架了.....)
SKY100的VIEW的確沒話說~~360度的視野真是棒.
從SKY100下樓,明明我們的旅館就在103樓,可是還是要到ICC L6(?)再轉來轉去到L9的入口再上103樓.
因為是週日的關係L9有不少人在登記等待HIGH TEA,我們跟接待人員說CHECK IN,就幫我們按電梯上103樓大廳登記.
(這台電梯就沒有SKY100的快速,所以不適感也輕微些)
出示了護照給櫃台人員辦理登記,櫃台人員讓我們很開心也有點小失望,
開心的是~~"我們幫您們由豪華海景房免費升等到套房房型"(套房耶~~套房耶~~要是行政樓層會更開心...)
小失望的是"房間還在最後檢查,要稍候一下"~~....
不過沒關係~~行李交給櫃檯人員請他們房間OK後送房間,
下一站~~~深水捗

愛迪生效應,這是電子學的起點,讀電子學的人應該都要知道這件事情,不過輪到我唸書時,半導體技術太發達了,又只知道膜拜英文教科書,所以對此完全無知 。在此謹向電學之路上的先聖賢先賢致敬。
今天在圖書館念文法書唸到心煩,跑去專門放電機電子的書櫃前轉換心情,翻了翻書,發現到差不多民國80年之後的教科書就幾乎不再提這件事了,或者只是輕描淡寫....。

另外想不到兄台還選用了「學步邯鄲」這個典 這年頭會用的人也不多了

昨天休假在觀賞【哈利波特:死神的聖物2】過程中,至少兩度留下眼淚:其中第一次流淚,是在看到石內卜被殺、垂死之際對著哈利說:「你擁有你媽媽的眼睛」時,為他的不幸一掬同情之淚;其後的第二次流淚,則是哈利波特用儲思盆,觀看石內卜臨終留給哈利的重要記憶,從他小時候遇到哈利的母親-莉莉,到為了莉莉即將被佛地魔謀殺、而去向鄧不利多哀求他幫助莉莉遠離危險等等思緒片段,一開始只是讓我眼睛再度因同時與悲憐默默泛淚,到後來甚至差點無法克制放聲大哭,當場僅能不斷地以衣服拭淚,並盡量平復自己的心情,繼續觀賞接下去的影片。

我看完的當下是沒哭，但內心很痛苦，入戲太深了大概。
